The Exotics Tour Black 2010 Wedge line features a 1025 milled and forged face that is only 1.5mm thick and backed by a hollow core that is filled with a thermal plastic elastomer (TPE). The face and grooves are milled to conform to the recent USGA groove ruling allowing these wedges to be played on the 2010 PGA Tour. The combination of the super thin face, TPE gel and new grooves help the Tour Black deliver exceptional feel and remarkable feedback.
For maximum spin, Xtreme Spin wedges utilize CNC milled, square grooves for a crisp edge. The wedge faces are also CNC milled, producing micro-edging and a rougher surface that creates more spin on full and partial shots.
Creating Tour-inspired looks and feel, the new Exotics Tour Black’s Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating sets this wedge apart. The process is unique in that it involves the deposition of a very hard ceramic and diamond-like carbon coating via a vacuum-cure process.
Adding to the uniqueness, this thoroughbred wedge has a removable weight screw that allows golfers to adjust the swing weight for the preferred feel, weight, and performance. Each Exotics Xtreme Spin wedge comes standard with a weight kit that includes a wrench and 2, 4, and 6-gram screws.
